Native American Jewelry Inspiration

The month of June is coming to a close...hard to believe I know. In honor of our nation's birthday on the 4th of July, I have just added a new banner and  coupon on www.doubledeedeals.com  for free shipping in the USA on all orders over $100.00.
Summer always goes by so quickly and could it be any more relaxing and fun, than to lay buy a pool and shop for beautiful American Indian Jewelry at www.doubledeedeals.com. If you do not have the luxury of a summer vacation by a pool, I hope you will have an opportunity to at least enjoy some fresh air and sunshine to revive your spirit and clear your mind. Native American Culture puts great value on spending time enjoying the outdoors and the Navajo and Zuni reservations have some of the most dramatic landscapes on the planet. These lands provide great inspiration for the Navajo and Zuni jewelry artists.  I will be telling you more about some of these artists soon.

Turquoise the "Sky Stone"

I have been searching for blue sky for several days since my recent return from California. Perhaps my love of blue sky is the reason I love the “sky stone”, Turquoise. In our post-modern world where everything is multiplied and mass-produced each piece of Turquoise gem stone is unique and holds that special appeal. Add to that the Native American Silversmith Artistry and you have the reason I love to go to work every day at www.doubledeedeals.com. All the different variations of color just in Turquoise are amazing,

This bracelet of Royston Turquoise with its beautiful green hue and the gorgeous blue in this White Cloud Turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty Mine in this ring ,are just a couple examples of the incredible colors in Turquoise Gem Stones. The many varieties of Turquoise and its many colors reflect our diversity and complexity as people. Is it really any wonder that Turquoise has become a cultural icon for the Southwestern United States? But I know from talking to my friends that visit www.doubledeedeals.com that the entire world has fallen in love with turquoise and the American Indian Artists that create these one of a kind pieces of wearable art. How do I know this? Because I am receiving orders from Japan, Germany, Russia and Australia just to name a few. It is thrilling to share these specially chosen pieces of Turquoise Jewelry Art with the growing community on the web. So I continue to look out of my window for blue sky and think of my friends around the world enjoying their own piece of “Sky Stone”, Turquoise .

Here is my favorite new bracelet and I hope to soon have a favorite new movie, as The Lone Ranger is set to open July 3rd...WhooHoo! I am a huge fan of Johnny Depp in any role and Armie Hammer will be a very handsome partner in justice as well. I have read that Johnny Depp, as Tonto, will narrate the entire adventure.
It will be so interesting to see this western and it is my hope that it will be a tribute to the unique beauty of Native American Indian Culture. Armie Hammer has referred to his character as the "rock and roll Lone Ranger". Johnny Depp has stated emphatically that Tonto is not a stereotype or supporting character.
I think that I will send Johnny a  www.doubledeedeals.com Arrowhead necklaces like this:
And Armie needs a big beautiful ring. Anyway I am really looking forward to seeing The Lone Ranger on July 3rd, I will let you know what I think. Lots more beautiful Native American Jewelry on www.doubledeedeals.com and use coupon code " USA"  for free shipping in the US on all orders over $100.00

New Native American Jewelry

Welcome to spring finally!  And almost summer, Yea! I have spent a great deal of time on the reservations recently gathering Native American made jewelry, dream catchers and carved animal fetishes. I have been busy photographing and posting all the new items. Now I get to really admire them. I love the beautiful workmanship of these Native American works of art. By purchasing and wearing American Indian Treasures you are supporting this wonderful culture and heritage that is uniquely American. Sapphira Scott has brought us so many beautiful beaded earrings and necklaces. And Tony Garcia is the master at making those magnificent money clips for our Dad's, brothers and husbands. I have some fetish couples to bring wedding bliss wishes to new life partners. Oh my so many things I do go on, but a picture is worth a thousand words.....
